My name is Suraj. I’m a graduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering, at North Carolina State University, Raleigh. I am interested in Computer vision, Autonomous vehicles and systems and embedded systems. I have been involved in embedded systems, image processing and robotics through projects during my undergrad at B.M.S College of Engineering, India. I pursued a career in embedded systems at Robert Bosch,India , developing embedded software for Airbag Control units for Japanese Automotive OEM’s.
To further my interests in Computer Vision and Autonomous systems I joined the Master’s program at NS State University. Here I have worked on ORBSLAM, Darknet YoLo detection , 3D reconstruction using Images , Autonomous Navigation using LIDAR and a host of other projects. I am currently interested in and learning SLAM and different VSLAM methods of SLAM. Feel free to reach out and contact me for any discussions on technical topics.
When I not working I like to indulge myself in photography and occasionally read books.
